-Got my hair done. It cost $50 more than last time, with no explanation.
-Bought fuckawesome jeans. Dad saw them and replied "Whoa. They're big".
BUT TODAY WAS NOT A BAD DAY! Because when i was waiting for the train a random 4 year old told me I was a "very groovy lady" because I had nice hair and was carrying a Charlie & Lola bag X3

NATHAN GOT ME SMASH BROS BRAWL. I cried manly tears. Best birthday ever. We went out for dinner, and then my dad sang the Captain America theme song (lol what!?) and it was awesome.

I'm a bit iffy on that last Sanadamannequin post; I had to do some major last minute improv to justify Sengoku not being in next week's entry. That's what I get for chaining him to another character, i guess XD
Tricycle!Enrique + Rusty Saw = WORST DEUS EX MACHINA EVER.
And I wanted to use the hack saw, but the blood splatter wouldn't photograph properly.
Oh well, at least it gives Sengoku a chance to return from hospital with a new friend or two? ha Ha HA! Wouldn't that be something...

In other news, it turns out the Sengoku mannequin IS NOT fixable; I had a proper look at him today. His right eyebrow has been carpetburned off, he's completely cracked across the collarbones, the side of his neck, the back of his neck and in a straight line across his ear. I was gonna do an internal repair, like fill him with resin or epoxy, but I can't unscrew the metal plate do get inside because to do that I need to put too much pressure on him and he'll crumble apart.
SO! Remember yesterday how I said I only had enough money to A) go to Sydney or B) take a Spanish language course but not to do both? I am now doing NEITHER because I'll be buying a new Sengoku.

Okay, here's a pro tip: If I come home to find an irreparable 10cm crack across the neck of one of my mannequins, it is pretty damn obvious that he's been dropped on his HEAD. Don't feed me some bullshit lie like it 'fell off the table'.
I AM SO FURIOUS RIGHT NOW YOU'VE NO IDEA.
one day before my birthday, too. fucking awesome.
Edit:okay, calming down a bit now. Still furious, but he may be fixable. in the mean time I'm just gonna write it into the storyline; I've already got it all worked out.

Safeway granted my leave and I am not working on my birthday; this fills me with much joy. I worked on my 18th and by the time I got home to set up my party i was rather buggered.

Just finished reading The Misadventures of Benjamin Bartholomew Piff: Wishing Well. IT HAD STEAMPUNK GNOMES! \o/
It wasn't as good as the other Benjamin Piff books (He's 11. Throwing him into a love triangle was kinda stupid) but I guess I still enjoyed it. There's only one more book in the series and i just KNOW that all my fave characters are gonna die T___T
EDIT: Hey, I just found out the guy who writes Benjamin Piff has written for Marvel Comics as well! Small world, no?

In other news, I've cut all caffeinated drinks from my diet. If you're familiar with the way I constantly chug coffee, you know this is a big deal. My head currently feels like it's tearing itself apart T____T

I'm 21 next Thursday, gosh that's come around fast. So fast in fact, that I forgot to apply for leave and am now working that day, ahaha. BUT THAT'S OKAY BECAUSE I NEED THE MONEYS! Here's my current financial traffic:
Outbound Money: (in order of urgency)
- $50 Replacement Nintendo 64 :P
- $80 Pink hair dye (bulk)
- $590 car registration
- $350 trip to Sydney for SMASH???
- $100 Rikkai Uniform <- wth Kath you don't need this.

- $46.00 from Wancy
- $126.60 cheque needing to be cashed
- Safeway wages (about $200 a week, i'm not sure)

This is gonna sound retarded after the above budgeting, but can we all meet up for a day of shopping at Spencer Street DFO? I need to buy some 'nice and sensible' clothes, as I can't keep rocking up to job interviews in my technicolor best. Ahahaha.

I just found my last ever highschool art project, where I had to depict a relationship between people and animals.

Camera totally murdered the colours... the backgrounds are actually bright yellow, not Rikkai English Mustard. I got a D on this, i think? My art teacher told me I had disrespected the gouache and asked that I not take art the following year, ahahaha XD

NIC CAGE WAS ON LONSDALE ST YESTERDAY!
We were like SO close to him, guys... I think I'm gonna cry. Plus he's staying at the Docklands now; around this time last year WE were at Docklands for our PoT Holiday. We could have pounced on him and gotten arrested dressed him up as Sanada! The universe is so cruel... T__T
His adorable wife Alice is around here somewhere too; she's only 3 years older than me.
In other news, I overslept and didn't get to the pub where I was supposed to be meeting my Borders friends. I promised them I'd shout drinks next time, ahaha XD;; *starts saving her money*
AND TOTALLY RANDOM but in PoT has Sengoku actually ever met Yukimura? I planned on having him make a reference to him in the mannequin storyline, but i can't recall them knowing eachother. And you know, I totally pay attention to canon.... It's easy enough to work around though XD
I find it utterly hilarious how often my Nic Cage/PoT crossover icon comes in handy.

It's finally half price!

I realised today that I'm more excited about the Avengers Movie than the Justice League movie, which is somewhat depressing seeing as I'm predominantly a DC fangirl. I mean, i don't HATE Marvel (their fanboys yes, but that's another story), I just have a loyalty issue and like DC more. I still enjoy Marvel stuff but- oh wait, wait. I'll just put it like this:
DC Comics = Backstreet Boys
Marvel = Every other boyband.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Now I'm picturing *Nsync dressing up as X-Men...

I don't know how many of you follow this sort of thing (i thought it'd end up on fandom wank to be honest), but last week in Ctrl+Alt+Del one of the main characters had a miscarriage.

A lot of people criticised Tim Buckley for it, saying it was a cheap way to add *~drama~* to his comic, and laughed at his constant Sideways B^U style faces. In fact they call him Tim B^Uckley now.
The /co/mrades started 'improving' it, and for the most part it was funny. Tasteless, yes (it IS 4chan after all) but funny. here are a few examples
But then the big names started getting in on it. I dunno, there's kind of a big difference between dissing something anonymously on 4chan, and putting it up on a well known site with your name all over it. Plus none of THEIRS were funny.

On Monday i bought a tamagotchi to put on my keys, hoping the constant beeping would stop me from losing them all the time. It... was not as fun as I remembered it to be back in when i was 11. I got frustrated and left it to die.
